ME Nail & Hair Salon

I used to come here all the time but never again after this. I went here with my boyfriend for his first pedicure and the lady was digging into his toes to cut his nails. She kept saying ‘oops sorry.’ He complained about it more than once with her, saying it hurt and to start with, he only asked for filling (I guess there was a language barrier ). She went and cut his nails anyway. When we left, he was complaining of his big toes being sore and the pain continued for several days (we went in Monday Nov 13th and it got worse until Nov 22nd-when these photos were taken). He had some sensitivity near his toes and when I looked at them, they were infected on both sides where the lady dug into his skin. He was told by his dr that he needed to get to urgent care immediately, as the cutting of the cuticles had led to infection. NAIL SALONS SHOULD NOT BE CUTTING INTO YOUR SKIN! Especially bc they clearly are not cleaning and sanitizing. I’m disgusted and will never go back. Trust me when I tell you. The openings in his skin exposed him to all kinds of bacteria. They are not trained to do this kind of cutting, especially some he asked just for filling. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Went to this place not expecting to get my nails done but I’m so happy I did. Misa did these beautiful nails. The place was clean and friendly. The manager was full of life and very welcoming. She did my sisters brows. They look so good I might just have to come back and do mine. Overall, one of the best nail salons in Baltimore! <3

Late one evening I was feeling defeated and impulsive, so I decided it was a great time to get pedis (although terrified due to a bad experience at another local nail salon that gave me a toenail fungus😩). My daughters and I walked in Late in the evening and was able to be serviced. Everyone was polite, professional, and personable.. Which means A LOT in the field of cosmetology as I am a license professional. I am SO glad to have found MiMi (whom I would love to fold up and put in my pocket) 🤗😂 and Maddy!!! I was blessed one evening stumbling upon this place and found Tracy. When I say this beauty can bring an image to life, it is not an understatement. Her keen attention to detail and creativity is impeccable! I haven't been anywhere else unless they are busy, and when I do go, I am left, not feeling the same as I do here. So plan a few hours to get spoiled and glamorize, you won't be disappointed!!!

I’ve been here a few times, and it was good. Today, I felt rushed. I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure. They did both simultaneously. I don’t like that because I like do pay attention to what’s being done. I had to constantly correct her to cover my nails with polish. She didn’t polish a complete nail without direction. It’s sloppy. All for $90! I’m probably not coming back. I’m truly disappointed. I didn’t make a fuss because I don’t have the energy to do it today. Just a huge disappointment I’m what was supposed to be a relaxing experience.
